John,
building a Tangaroa in Houston, was asking about lashing his rudders as
the Tiki's and we just happened to have one here in the yard about to go
that way. The strip of Douglas Fir is epoxied & screwed to the stern
post and is ready for drilling, the owner intending 4 (6mm) rope
"hangings". There is also a stub at the base of the skeg to
carry a nylon bottom bearing. |
